Love

The obedient ones enjoy such bliss and perfect peace that even the monarchs of the world cannot dream of.Allah Ta'ala says:
"Verily in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest"(Ar-Ra'd:28)
Says Hafiz of Shiraz, the great mystic poet:
"A glimpse of the Beauteous one in perfect peace,
Is better far than the pleasure,
Of holding kingdoms under the royal flag,
And daily noise and flurring of life at court"
Another divine wrote to Sanjur, the monarch of the "Nimroz Kingdom" replying to his letter:
"I would rather have my Fortune's Face turn black-like the colour of Sanjur's royal flag-than have in my heart the greed for Sanjur's great kingdom,
For the moment I gained the bliss of midnight prayers,
The state of Sanjur was not worth an oat in comparison"
A 'Sufi'(Divine) is said to have remarked once:"If the dwellers of Paradise are in the same condition as we are now,the are surely happiness"
Another divine says:"It's pity that the men of mere worldly wealth and position passed away into the Unknown without their ever tasting of real happiness"
Says another Sufi:"If the kings of the world had tasted of the heavenly bliss that he has fallen to our lot, they would have certainly have made war upon us,out of sheer envy"
At times, the divines becomes so rapt with spiritual joy that they tend to prefer their blissfulmoods to the External Bliss of Paradise. What is more,Sufis says, that if they are granted the bliss of Nearness to Allah in Hell, they will willingly accept Hell. And they think, that all heavenly pleasure are of no value if one is deprived of the sublime joy of Nearness to Allah in Paradise.Maulana Rumi, the great mystic poet says:"The humble place where Love is holding court,Is more exalted than the seven skies,Wherever there be a Yusuf's beauteous face,Is Paradise,be it a dark blind well,Your presence,my Love, makes Heaven horrible Hell,Without you Paradise seems like Hell."(Quoted From "Jazaa Ul A'mal" by Maulana Asyraf Ali Thanwi Rahimahullah)
