"It is compulsory for a person to worship Allah with truthfulness and sincerity and should avoid all shirk (associating partners with Allah) and bidah (innovations leading to misguidance) in the worship and remembrance of Allah. However, this is only possible when a person rectifies his inner conditions (through Tasawwuf). One should take account of all of his sayings and doings. Without necessity, one should not say or do anything. When one wants to say or do something, he should turn towards Allah and ask Him for the tawfeeq (ability) to do righteous actions."
Advising his disciples, he once said: "Make the Zikr (remembrance) of Allah compulsory upon you. With Zikr of Allah, one can become near to Allah. The love of Allah is such a intense fire which burns all dirt (of the heart). It is regarding the Zikr of Allah that Allah has said: 'Remember Allah much, so you may become successful.'"
"The safety of the body is in eating less and the safety of the Ruh (soul) is to stay away from the sins and the safety of one's Deen is to send Durood upon Rasulullah (Salallahu Alayhi Wasallam)."
